EAST MEADOW, New York — A Michigan man says pictures he found online led him to believe he could be the 2-year-old boy who vanished more than a half-century ago from a bakery on New York's Long Island.
John Robert Barnes of Kalkaska told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he was doing online research when he saw pictures of the first wife of the man he thinks could be his father.
She seemed familiar and that led him to believe he might be Stephen Damman, the missing boy.
He says he's now "waiting for the FBI to tell me who I'm related to."

A US highway cop "was in a state of rage" when he pulled over an ambulance taking a patient to hospital, the ambulance driver said.
Paramedic Maurice White – who is black – said the policeman, Trooper Daniel Martin, disregarded his patient’s safety in stopping the ambulance for “failing to yield”.
As Mr White tried to tell Trooper Martin there was a patient in the back, an argument escalated, ending with Trooper Martin engaging a choke hold on Mr White.
The entire incident was caught on camera, both in the policeman’s car and on a handheld camera used by the patient’s son, who was travelling in the front of the ambulance.
The son’s video made it onto YouTube, where it sparked an outcry over the policeman’s treatment of the paramedic.
Now the police dashboard version has been released, with Trooper Martin’s lawyer claiming it “vindicates a decorated war hero”.

Yesterday the girl called her safe sex kit, which includes 20 condoms, a "party pack".
