Until now, it has been widely believed alcohol consumption could cause erectile dysfunction, commonly called "brewer's droop''.

But a study of 1580 Australian men has shown the reverse may be true, with drinkers reporting as many as 30 per cent fewer problems than teetotallers.

A MAN has been charged with assault using peanut oil he allegedly smeared on a car door handle to make his allergic former fiancee ill, police said.
Police in Burlington,Ontario, Canada, said the 49-year-old woman became sick after touching her car door handle and was treated for an allergic reaction to nuts at a nearby medical clinic.

She suffered no serious lasting effects.

"It is an unusual case, but it's also very serious because the victim could have had an allergy attack while driving and gotten into an accident," Sergeant Brian Carr said.

She awoke to feel her nipple being tugged and the top half of her breast exposed, the Melbourne Magistrates Court was told today.

The court was told the victim was significantly affected by the incident, which occurred while Lyle was returning home from caddying for his brother, professional golfer Jarrod Lyle, on the US PGA tour.
