Casper, which is 12 years old, boards the No3 service at 10.55am from outside his home in Plymouth, Devon, and travels the entire 11-mile route before returning home about an hour later.

On the route, the cat passes an historic dockyard and naval base, a city centre, several suburbs and the city's red light district.
He has been making the journey for so long that all First Bus drivers have now been told to look out for him to ensure he gets off at the right stop.

Susan Finden, 65, a care worker who is Casper's owner, said: "Casper has always disappeared for hours at a time but I never understood where he was going.

"I called him Casper because he had a habit of vanishing like a ghost. But then some of the drivers told me he had been catching the bus.

"I couldn't believe it at first, but it explains a lot. He loves people and we have a bus stop right outside our house so that must be how he got started - just following everyone on. ..

ALSIP, Illinois — Skeletal remains of a man wearing a suit and tie were found sitting in a burial vault with no casket in sight at a historic black Illinois cemetery where workers allegedly dug up bodies and dumped them in a scheme to resell plots, officials said Friday.

Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart said detectives were exhuming that grave site and two others, including one where two burial vaults were stacked on top of each other — the first proof that the alleged plot involved burying bodies on already-occupied grave sites.

HEADLINE: Family Wants Out of Living Alone in 32-Story Condo
SOURCE AND DATE OF CLIP: FOXNews.com 30.7.9
CAPTION: REALLY HOME ALONE
It sounds like a dream-come-true: having a huge 32-story condo building in Florida all to yourself.
But for one man and his family, that situation has turned into a real-life nightmare.
Victor Vangelakos, 45, recently bought a condominium for $430,000 in the 32-story Oasis I building in Fort Myers, Fla., according to The News-Press.
Vangelakos, a firefighter from Weehawken, N.J., uses it as a vacation residence with his wife and three children.
But eerily, he doesn't have any neighbors. With the real estate collapse that began in 2006, potential buyers steered clear or transferred down payments to units in the Oasis II next door.
Vangelakos wasn't able to do that because his lender wouldn't allow a swap, according to the paper.
So he and his family are stuck in the lonely building, where the silence is unsettling and intruders are frequent. The swimming pool is often raided at night....
His attorney John Ewing said the family receives no marina or pro shop benefits as promised.
Now, Vangelakos wants to leave the unit, and is fighting to do just that — though he hasn't filed a lawsuit.

HEADLINE: Men, women see differently - study

MEN are better at seeing things in the distance due to their hunter-gatherer past chasing animals, while women are better focusing on things at close range, a British study said.
In findings which reflect how men's and women's brains have evolved differently over thousands of years, they found that men are better at judging faraway targets.

Researchers tested their theory by asking a group of 48 men and women to use a laser pointer to mark the midpoint of lines on a piece of paper at different distances.

Men were more accurate than women when the paper was placed at a distance of 100 centimetres, while women were more accurate when the target was only 50 centimetres away, within arm's reach.

"Evidence already exists that separate pathways in the brain process visual information from near and far space,'' said psychologist Helen Stancey from Hammersmith and West London College.

The Doggie Lover Doll, made by PetSmiling, was unveiled at a pet industry convention in Brazil last week.
The company describes the product as: "A female canine manufactured in soft rubber with a silicon vagina and an easy to clean reservoir."
Its creator, PetSmiling owner Marcos Giroto, said he came up with the idea after noticing his own dog’s frustration.
