A COUPLE were left red-faced during a late-night dash for a takeaway when they were pulled up by police for a random breath test wearing nothing but their undies.
Dee Cunningham, 32, and husband Mick were sprung at an RBT in Darwin after going on a Subway run on Sunday night.
"It was after 8pm and we quickly wanted to get something to eat," Ms Cunningham told the NT News.
"We had no intentions of getting out of the car, as it was pouring down rain and we only wanted to get something at a drive-through - no harm going in undies."
She said she had thought about going in the nude, but luckily changed her mind before getting into the car.

The new levy is part of a long-awaited report on how Britain can turn around its "throwaway culture".
The committee recommend every council should be made to collect food waste separately, meaning a slop bucket in most homes, to reduce the amount of biodegradable waste going to landfill.

Earlier this month, a British man was arrested and reportedly banned from a local airport after joking on Twitter that he was going to blow the U.K.'s Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield "sky high."
After a snowstorm threatened to interfere with his travel plans, Paul Chambers, 26, took to Twitter to release his frustration, according to the U.K.'s The Independent.
"Robin Hood airport is closed. You've got a week and a bit to get your sh** together, otherwise I'm blowing the airport sky high!!," he reportedly wrote.
Chambers thought he was just being funny, but British authorities apparently took a different view. A week after posting the message, he was arrested under the Terrorism Act and detained for nearly seven hours.

A teenage mother has received a visit from the police after a photo of her baby son with a cigarette hanging from his mouth was posted online. Rebecca Davey, 18, was apparently reported by concerned friends who had seen the picture on Facebook.
It showed six-month-old Ollie posing with the unlit cigarette.
Essex police learned of the image on Saturday and traced the teenager's home address to Southend in Essex.
A spokesman said they had "no immediate concerns" for the boy's welfare after the visit, but confirmed the matter had been referred to social services.
The offending photo has since been removed from the site, but it was printed in The Sun.

A 42-year-old Taiwanese man with a history of high blood pressure has died of a stroke likely triggered by over-excitement from watching the blockbuster Avatar in 3D, a doctor says.
The man, identified only by his surname Kuo, started to feel unwell during the screening earlier this month in the northern city of Hsinchu and was taken to hospital.
Mr Kuo, who suffered from hypertension, was unconscious when he arrived at the Nan Men General Hospital and a scan showed that his brain was haemorrhaging, emergency room doctor Peng Chin-chih said today.
"It's likely that the over-excitement from watching the movie triggered his symptoms,'' the doctor said.

Researchers found women who rated themselves as pretty displayed a war-like streak when fighting battles to get their own way.
The University of California interviewed 156 female students to gauge their temperament and how they handled conflict.
The findings appear in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
In the study, the women who believed they were good looking were more likely to respond angrily in disputes than those who rated themselves as less attractive.
Attractive women also had higher expectations of what they deserved.

POLICE responding to a complaint of loud noise have cited a Wisconsin man for "rocking out" to the music of John Denver.
A police who responded to the man's apartment last week could hear Denver's music through the door.
The officer pounded on the door but the man didn't answer. Finally the officer found out the man's name from a neighbor and called to him, bringing the man to the door.
When asked why he had the music so loud, the man said he was "rocking out."

AN armed man missing his front teeth has robbed several people, including a dentist, and stolen four cars in a crime spree lasting less than an hour, Sydney police say.
The robberies began at Bondi Junction about 9.20am (AEDT) today when the man entered a house in St James Street and threatened a woman with a piece of wood before taking off in her Citroen.
A short time later, he used a knife to threaten staff at a dental surgery on Bellevue Road, Bellevue Hill, demanding cash before stealing a Toyota Yaris.
The car was later found by police dumped in Brassie Street at North Bondi.
"He entered a nearby house in Niblick Street, again producing a knife and threatening the resident before demanding the car keys.
He then drove off in a green BMW,'' police said

HOLIDAY Inn will offer a free five-minute human bed warming service at its London Kensington hotel throughout next week.
Sky News reports that if requested, a willing member of the hotel staff will jump in your bed, dressed head to foot in an all-in-one sleeper suit, until it's feeling nice and toasty.
"Like having a giant hot water bottle in your bed" is how Holiday Inn spokeswoman Jane Bednall described the idea.
Dr Chris Idzikowski, director of the Edinburgh Sleep Centre, said the idea actually could help people drop off to sleep.
"There's plenty of scientific evidence to show that sleep starts at the beginning of the night when body temperature starts to drop,” he said.
"A warm bed - approximately 20 to 24C - is a good way to start this process whereas a cold bed would inhibit sleep.
