ANZA, Calif. — Authorities have arrested a Southern California man after determining that a dead horse on his property had been struck repeatedly in the head with a sledge hammer and decapitated with a chain saw.
Riverside County sheriff's Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela said Monday that Jack Ziniuk summoned deputies to his Anza home Sunday and told them his horse was having seizures after being attacked by dogs and needed to be put down.
