Authorities arrested a 12-year-old boy who allegedly drove his mother's car and crashed into a police cruiser on Interstate 77. State Police Sgt. S.E. Wolfe said the boy's mother reported her car missing at 7:54 a.m. Wednesday from her home.

A Washington state convenience store robbery suspect brought his 9-year-old daughter along while he committed the crime, the local sheriff said.

Robert Daniel Webb, identified as the suspect by Kittitas County detectives using store security video, pulled a gun on a clerk at the Ellensburg AM-PM while a girl in a pink coat watched.

The child is named as Webb's daughter, Meadow.

The renegade dad fled with about $200 and his little girl, driving east on I-90, according to the sheriff's office.

He and Meadow are believed to be traveling in a 2008 silver Toyota Corolla, Washington license 602-XQG.

LEAGUE CITY, Texas — Police in League City, Texas, say a hit-and-run driver in a fatal crash apparently left a note expressing remorse near the victim's body.

An investigator who asked to be identified only as Detective Aldridge said Tuesday that no arrests have been made in the death of 34-year-old Maurice Jones.

The note was scribbled on paper from a spiral notebook. Aldridge says the note may have been written by a woman but he declined to reveal more details.
