A 38-year-old former Miss Argentina has died over the weekend from complications resulting from cosmetic surgery, friends says.

"This woman who had everything is dead because she wanted to have a slightly firmer ass," said Roberto Piazza, a fashion designer and close friend of Solange Magnano.

Magnano, Miss Argentina 1994 and a married mother of eight-year-old twins, went under the knife on Thursday at a plastic surgery centre in Buenos Aires.

She was rushed to the hospital on Friday suffering from a pulmonary embolism, and died on Sunday, her friends said.

"She only underwent the procedure because she thought it was no big deal," said Guillermo Azar, another associate from the fashion world and a close friend of Magnano's.

Most college students expect to receive their diplomas on the basis of grades, but at a Pennsylvania school, physical fitness matters too.

Students at Lincoln University with a body mass index of 30 or above, reflective of obesity, must take a fitness course that meets three hours per week. Those who are assigned to the class but do not complete it cannot graduate.

Now that the first class to have this requirement imposed is nearing graduation day -- students who entered in the fall of 2006 -- the school faces criticism from both students and outsiders about the fitness class policy.

HEADLINE: 75 great moments in men's underwear

Men's underwear turns 75 this month, assuming you consider the dawn of undergarments the invention of the Jockey brief.

Call us old school. We consider King Tut and his loincloth, not Jim Palmer in his tighty whities, as the first high-profile male underwear model. But in the interest of finding an excuse to celebrate, we're still going to mark this moment by declaring 75 great moments and guys in men's underwear.

When we ran out of points in time, we started making lists. Fictitious characters were included as well. So for the sake of argument, Seth Brundle's decision to wear briefs in "The Fly" and Homer Simpson's first-ballot induction in our Men's Underwear Hall of Fame count as "moments." Kramer from "Seinfeld" gets counted for boxers and briefs ...

5000 B.C.: First record of men wearing underwear. Cave paintings hard to read, but all-leather genital coverings appeared to cause chafing....
