ARE you a thief?
How about the last time you stayed in a hotel and slipped the slippers into your bag?
Or squeezed a fluffy bathrobe into your suitcase? (I confess to pocketing plastic pens and designer-label toiletries - irresistible.)
According to the Australian Hotel Association (AHA), millions of dollars a year are lost in the hotel industry due to theft. And it seems, when it comes to five-fingered discounts - females are champions.
Accor Hotels' annual Novotel surveys reveal women are consistently more likely to pilfer than men. Women are most likely to souvenir shampoo bottles, soaps and towels...

Las Vegas brothel offers new 'menu' for women

Calling all men: are you ready for a change in career? Willing to put up with a big commute? Are you ‘service-oriented’, with a ‘willingness to please’?
If the answer to all the above questions is ‘yes’, the Shady Lady Ranch in the Nevada desert has got a job for you: male prostitute (female clients only) charging an estimated $300 (£187) per hour.
Although legalised prostitution is nothing new in the wilderness beyond Las Vegas, pimping out men has been long been against the rules — largely because it was assumed by state officials that the only people interested in paying for such a service would be other men.

ASK one eastern Iowa wife if she got the perfect birthday present and she'll tell you her hubby "dung good".
Carole and Dick Kleis live together on their farm in Zwingle, Iowa. This year for her birthday, the mister used more than 55,000kg of manure to spell out a special message, which basically said "Happy Birthday, Love You" in shorthand.
It only took three hours of scatological labor to spell it all out.
"It's not hard," Dick Kleis said. "Any manure will work but the good, soft, gushy, warm stuff works the best. It kind of melts the snow."

GRANT, Mich. (WZZM)-A Newaygo County family is dealing with an unusual destruction of property case. It involves the family's horse and its tail.
For Rachal North, it was upsetting. Her 18-year old horse named "Star" now has to wear a blanket to stay warm. Last Tuesday someone came onto the property and cut the horse's tail off. "Her tail was all the way down to her feet", says Rachal.
The family is now worried the same will happen to their pony named "Bandit". He belongs to Rachal's 11-year old daughter, Samantha Graham. "Oh my gosh, what's going to happen next. They'll get Bandit too", says Samantha.

"It's about having standards, ladies," he wrote.
"What are standards? Well, it can begin by dressing in a manner that leaves something to the imagination, to say the least."

SUMMERVILLE, Ga. (CBS/AP) Tattooing six of their underage children with a jerry-rigged machine, using a guitar string as the needle, sounded like a good idea to Patty Jo Marsh and her husband Jacob Edwards Bartels at the time.
But the Georgia pair failed to recognize the consequences of their ink-fest, and they were arrested late last year after the biological mother of two of the children complained the tats wouldn't wash off.

AROUND 30 million high-tech German bank cards could leave owners high and dry, bank associations warned as the feared Y2K computer bug struck 10 years later than expected.
The problem that hit cardholders trying to use cash machines or make payments throughout Germany and abroad stems from computer chips unable to recognise the year 2010, and could take up to a week to resolve, the DSGV savings and regional banking association said in a statement.
A global alert went out 10 years ago amid widespread fears of a similar problem, dubbed Y2K for the year 2000.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Authorities say the suspicious material inside luggage that prompted the shutdown of a California airport turns out to be five soft drink bottles filled with honey.
Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood says the bottles, found inside a checked bag at Bakersfield's Meadows Field, had tested positive for traces of an explosive.
Youngblood says investigators are trying to determine whether there was something in the honey or on the bag that caused security alarms to go off shortly before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

HEADLINE: Men Know When They're Aroused, Women May Not
SOURCE: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,581974,00.html?test=latestnews
CLIP:
When it comes to sexual arousal, a woman's mind and body are less in sync than a man's, a review of research finds.

Men who reported feeling turned on tended to also sport an erection, while a matchup between the mind and body wasn't so consistent for women, according to the review published online Jan. 4 in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior.
"We wanted to discover how closely people's subjective experience of sexual arousal mirrors their physiological genital response — and whether this differs between men and women," said researcher Meredith Chivers, a psychology professor at Queen's University in Canada.
Chivers and colleagues reviewed more than 130 studies published between 1969 and 2007 involving participants' arousal responses. In total, the review included more than 2,500 women and 1,900 men.
Men's subjective ratings of arousal were in agreement with their body's level of sexual arousal about 66 percent of the time, while women's were in line only about 26 percent of the time.
"The general pattern that I have seen in my laboratory is that women experience a genital response but do not report feeling sexually aroused," Chivers told LiveScience.

The abandoned shar pei, named Roland, from Australia, is highly prized for his wrinkly skin. But the breed suffers from entropion, a painful condition in which his wrinkles cause his eyelashes to turn inward and rub against his eyeballs, The Daily Telegraph in Sydney reported.

A mighty bluefin tuna, representing 16,000 slices of the world’s most expensive sashimi, has sold in Japan’s first auction of the year for Y16.28 million (£111,000) - a price that no buyer has come close to for nearly a decade.
The 232.6 kilogram monster went under the hammer for 60 per cent more than the most expensive fish at sold at last year’s auction - a sign that Asia at least may be putting the financial crisis behind it and descending once again on its high-end sushi bars

TAMPA, Fla. — It's not exactly the Alamo, but Davy Crockett is at the center of a battle here.
Officials in Tennessee want a Hillsborough County judge to enforce a Tennessee order that 90-year-old Margaret V. Smith turn over Crockett's original marriage license application, which the Tampa woman says she inherited.
Lura Hinchey, archive director for Jefferson County, Tenn., said the county has repeatedly asked Smith for the license application of Crockett and Margaret Elder. Officials learned years ago that Smith had the document when she wrote the county clerk asking how to preserve it.
